Dogs
The 2010 festival will be featuring a new area - dogs. We believe that the
expansion offers a natural and complementary growth area for the Festival.
Visitors can expect to see :-
A variety of stands and exhibitors featuring dog interest and welfare groups
Trade stands featuring
products of interest to dog owners and lovers
A novelty dog show
featuring fun classes for all the family and your dog, no matter what age or
breed Arena attractions
showcasing dog agility, training and sports - performed by a variety
of local groups

Below are listed some
of the confirmed dog programme for the weekend.
Mr Michael Clarke will be doing talks and demonstrations with his Siberian
Huskies in the Interactive Ring. This will be a fascinating opportunity to
learn more about these amazingly tough and intelligent dogs.
Merlin's Magicians will be demonstrating the wonderful sport of flyball.
This is a rapidly growing canine sport, played in teams and is noisy, fast and
furious. It's great fun to watch and can be played by virtually any dog.
Merlin's Magicians are based in Carmarthenshire and run regular training
programmes and are always happy to welcome new members. Click

Crafty Canine Dog Training Club will be showcasing team training.
This will be showing the audience basic and advanced dog obedience exercises.
The club is a great place to come and get your Kennel Club Good Canine Citizen
training, and is based in Carmarthenshire. Click

Swansea Vale Agility Club will also be present, and running the Agility
Arena on the Sunday. The club started training
just over three years ago in 2007 and was formed by a group of people who met
through various dog training classes. All had dogs, and an interest in trying
dog agility, and found there was no club in the area covering

On the Saturday, we welcome Llanelli Ring Craft Club. They will be
demonstrating ring craft and running some taster sessions for you and your dog
to have a go.
This part of the show is being co-ordinated by
Greyhound Rescue Wales, the
